Spotlight Feature on Promenade at the Quay

The Promenade at the Quay is an exciting, new transit-oriented development by award-winning home builder, Polygon Homes. The project is located in North Vancouver at the heart of Lower Lonsdale, a neighborhood fast cementing itself as the social and cultural hub of the North Shore.

The Promenade at The Quay is located directly across from the Lonsdale Quay. The Lonsdale Quay is home to the iconic Public Market, SeaBus Terminal and Lonsdale Quay Bus Loop. The SeaBus provides a direct route from the North Shore to downtown Vancouver. With the eclectic vibrancy of local artisan shops and restaurants, along with its convenient access to transit, the area has anchored Lower Lonsdale since 1986. The immediate area has seen an influx of new amenities as a result of the spirit trail extension and The Polygon Gallery, located just steps from the front door of the development.

The project is comprised of a 14 storey mixed-use residential building with ground floor retail. There will be 117 residential units, a new home for the North Vancouver Museum and Archives, and over 13,000 SF of highly needed commercial spaces. The developer is committed to attracting the best local and national tenants to complement the neighborhood, thus, the project is available for both lease and/or sale. There is retail located at the north of the project along Esplanade, anchored by both Scotiabank and Starbucks. South of the project along Carrie Cates will see some of the best in class retail, with an eye towards restaurant and food uses that would ultimately be an extension of the storied “restaurant row”, found at the base of Lonsdale Avenue.

The estimated completion date for the project is in October of 2019. There are sure to be exciting tenant announcements in the coming months.
